Salary is a cost incurred by the company as a form of reward to employees who have completed their work obligations. Usually, salaries are paid by the company in a monthly period. Meanwhile, performance is the result achieved by an employee in carrying out his duties and responsibilities in the organization. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of payroll on employee performance at CV Abadi Jaya Rungkut Surabaya. This research uses qualitative research methods using a descriptive approach and data collection techniques used through observation and interviews with owners and employees. The results showed that there was an influence of payroll delays on employee performance at CV Abadi Jaya Rungkut Surabaya
