Abstract

The study conducted a comprehensive bibliometric analysis to examine the growing research on knowledge hiding over the past five years from 2018 to 2023. Knowledge hiding is behavior that is perpetrated by withholding knowledge that has been requested by others. Through a systematic review of academic literature, this study aims to reveal the popularity of research related to knowledge hiding through descriptive analysis. This study also seeks to evaluate publication performance based on a series of indices such as h-index, number of publications, citations, to the year of publication.  This study also aims to explore intellectual structure through content analysis to citation analysis to summarize the results of knowledge hiding research. This study used the Scopus database and obtained 210 research articles related to knowledge hiding from 66 different sources and the results of collaboration from 496 authors. The data that has been obtained is then analyzed using bibliometric R packages and VOSviewer software which are presented in the form of descriptive analysis and content analysis. The use of bibliometrics provides a snapshot of the current knowledge hiding and provides direction on potential implications for management practices and organizational behavior. Over the past five years, it can be seen that the topic of hiding knowledge has grown and making knowledge hiding a topic that is in great demand by writers
